LSG Club vs Tradervue: two ways to journal MetaTrader trades
Tradervue builds on report uploads and mentor sharing, LSG Club on Kill Zones, R and a free journal — compared with dates and sources.
Tradervue, first released in 2011, is used by stock, options, forex and futures traders who upload broker reports or sync supported brokers; LSG Club is a journal for ICT and SMC traders on MT4 and MT5, free for every club member. This comparison is for MetaTrader traders choosing between them. Every Tradervue fact was checked on 31 October 2026 on Tradervue’s own pricing, platform and help pages. We are LSG Club, so weigh our view accordingly.

Where Tradervue is stronger
- A long track record: Tradervue was first released in 2011.
- For MetaTrader, an upload workflow that needs no access to your trading account.
- Read-only mentor access built into the Silver and Gold plans.
- Stocks and options alongside forex and futures, so an equities trader can keep everything in one journal.
- Sharing individual trades with the Tradervue community, without volume and P&L unless you add them; its FAQ lets Silver and Gold subscribers include P&L (whether the free plan can share was not stated — verify).
- A free plan for light use (its monthly import limit differs between Tradervue’s pages — verify).
Where LSG Club is different
Both journals accept MetaTrader reports. What happens after the upload is where they part ways.
- No trade cap and no tier for the core journal: it is free for every club member, without a card or a time limit.
- Each trade lands in its ICT Kill Zone by entry time — Asian 20:00–00:00, London 02:00–05:00, New York 07:00–10:00, New York time — so session statistics stay comparable across daylight saving changes.
- R is on every plan, not a higher tier: the journal shows each result in $, % or R from the initial stop.
- Uploads are optional. MT5 auto-sync with the read-only investor password pulls new trades every hour for a $9 monthly club contribution, or on unlimited accounts with LSG Journal Pro ($29 a month or $290 a year), which also includes the club AI’s analyses on the site.
- Every trade is drawn on a real chart with its stop and target, and optimal RR and break-even replay it on real candles.
- A Telegram bot, a prop challenge tracker and read-only mentor links (up to five at a time, revocable) come with the free journal.
The free trading tools need no account at all; the MT5 statement analyzer reads the same HTML report you would upload to either journal.
Who should pick which
- Pick Tradervue if you trade stocks or options and like a journal built around report uploads.
- Pick Tradervue if you trade options or futures next to forex and want them all in one journal.
- Pick Tradervue if you only ever upload reports and never want a connection to your account.
- Pick LSG Club if you trade ICT or SMC on MT4/MT5 and want Kill Zones and R on every trade without a higher tier.
- Pick LSG Club if you want auto-sync as an option, not a requirement, at $9 a month per account.
Moving your history from Tradervue
Because Tradervue works from broker reports, you may still have the MetaTrader HTML files you uploaded there, and those import into LSG Club as they are. If not, save a fresh report from the MT5 or MT4 History tab. Tradervue’s help center describes a CSV download of your trade data for Silver and Gold subscribers; whether your notes and tags are included was not stated (verify). Duplicates are skipped, so overlapping reports are safe to import.
The steps are in how to import MT5 trades; if you keep notes in a sheet, the journal template has matching columns. For a prop account, read the prop firm journal guide. More comparisons: LSG Club vs Myfxbook and LSG Club vs Edgewonk.
Frequently asked questions
Is LSG Club really free?
Yes. Club members use the journal, analytics, report import, planning and the Telegram bot free with no card and no time limit. Only MT5 auto-sync ($9 a month per account) and LSG Journal Pro ($29 a month or $290 a year) are club contributions.
Can I import my Tradervue trades?
Use the MT4 or MT5 HTML reports you uploaded to Tradervue, or save new ones from your terminal; LSG Club imports them for free and skips duplicates. Tradervue’s help center describes a CSV export for Silver and Gold subscribers, but the pages we checked did not say whether it carries your notes.
Which is better for ICT traders?
We found no ICT-specific tooling on Tradervue’s pages, while LSG Club tags every trade with its Kill Zone and has ICT setups built in, with R on every plan. Tradervue suits traders who want stocks, options and futures in the same journal. See the ICT trading journal page for details.
Does Tradervue have a free plan?
Yes. Its help center’s import-quota article gives the free plan a monthly import limit of 30 trades, while its FAQ and a 2026 post on its blog say 100, so check the current figure. Paid plans start at $29.95 a month, with a 7-day trial that is charged when it ends unless you switch to the free plan.
